Simon Stevens

Originating from the UK, I attended the Royal College of Music, London, where I earned a Bachelors Degree in Composition. I also have a strong passion for performing and have played Drum Kit/Orchestral Percussion for most of my life.

I have always loved film and am fascinated by the effects music can have on it, together with the emotions music can conjure up. My influences include composers such as James Newton Howard, Hans Zimmer, John Powell, Tom Newman and Brian Tyler.

I am very much looking forward to collaborating with student film makers, as I believe it offers a unique opportunity to explore various genres and to further develop my writing skills.
