USC University of Southern California Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television

Zach Lemmon

I am from Beavercreek, Ohio where I received a bachelor of music in jazz studies from Central State University. After college, I worked as a private guitar instructor and performer while attending the Jazz Arts Studio, an advanced jazz studies program in Dayton, Ohio.

I scored my first student film in high school for a friend who is an aspiring film maker. This experience led to a collaboration on five more projects. Each project provided an opportunity to learn more about the art of film and the supportive role of film music.

Two of my favorite film scores are Edward Scissorhands by Danny Elfman and Donnie Darko by Micheal Andrews. When I'm not involved with music, I enjoy photography, cooking, and great coffee. I look forward to the many exciting opportunities that are a part of the SMPTV program.
