In addition to MUCO 520, Brian has created a workshop for teaching Digital Video with Final Cut Studio. Students will develop a foundation in digital video principles, including capturing and editing along with the ability to work directly with filmmakers in this digital medium.

As SMPTV director, he continues to develop collaborations within the TSOM and the music industry such as, the Master Class Series, Composition Forum, Student Film and Video Game Projects. Many of these collaborations have become part of the new SMPTV curriculum—including the “LOST” internship with Michael Giacchino and a modified version of “Directing The Composer” in partnership with Kenny Hall in the School of Cinematic Arts.
